1. In general, many people perceive a temple as a "depository". For example, it can be a depository of hope i.e. people go into the temple to pray or seek help from the gods...

2. Frankly, it takes one or two comments by others be it friends, passer-by or family members to make us feel very uncomfortable.

3. Commonsense Feng Shui

3.1 Pollution

It was reported recently that some Singaporeans developed lung cancer from frequently breathing in incense smoke, daily from praying to their gods e.g. Guan Yin etc...

Thus, if the temple is full of smoke, and if the smoke frequently blows into one's home then it is a REAL health concern.

3.2 Clean or dirty temple

Some temples may be unclean as some unscrupulous temple people dwell into things like mediums "Tang Ki" etc.. And especially for a Geomancer, carrying around our luo pan, may see activity e.g. the spinning of our luo pan compass.

3.3 Often, it is the feel good or feel bad factor that gives up the mood ...... Thus inauspicious comments by others.. may make us feel very uncomfortable living next to the temple that we don't feel happy. If our human luck factor is "down" then it comprises 33.3 percent of the holy trinity of Chinese Luck. The other two factors being Feng Shui and born with (Heaven Luck).
