myfs_134517
Recently. I have visited some modern homes with staircases that have openings between each step. Also, these staircases have a small pool of water underneath it. It's just a small square of water - no koi fishes, no running water. Just stagnant clean water. What is your opinion about this? Thanks. Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 16, 2009 Staff Share Posted June 16, 2009 Frankly, this is not acceptable morally in my country. As stagnant clean water can be a site for mosquito breeding. From a moral point of view, it may become illegal if this stagnant pool is found to be breeding mosquitoes.Perhaps, so long as your country does not have mosquitoes, then hmmmm...In the past especially 1960's to even early 1980's garage roofs always have a drainage pipe running towards the bottom. As the government found that many of these homes have clogged drainage pipes... especially due to debris like leaf falling into them, such drainage pipes are now totally banned. All roofing nowadays are purposely sloped to channel away rain water but no drainage for them.Amanda Y. wrote:Recently.
