myfs_136820
Master, please advise which bedhead position should I choose from the 2 options below :1. Bedhead facing Northwest (My longevity direction) but it's shares the same wall as my master bedroom toilet.2. Bedhead facing Southwest (My excellent direction) but it's against a wall with a side window on the left side of the bed
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 26, 2009 Staff Share Posted June 26, 2009 1. Frankly, sharing a wall with the toilet is acceptable or quite common. However, just make sure that the toilet bowl is on the opposite wall. Thus more importantly, avoid the toilet bowl (and sewerage) piping sharing the same wall as the bed-head.2. So long as the legs do not face the bedroom door, it is acceptable.3. If there is window on the same wall as the bed: and the concern is either rain blowing into the room and or cigarette bud being blown into the room. Or allow a child to climb and have access to the window from the bed.4. Having a bed-head facing one's good direction is NICE-to have and not a must have.5. Thus overall, based on your description, both seems acceptable. However, again you also consider where is the wardrope. And avoid having the bed at a corner of a room - without any circulating ventilation.
myfs_136820
Master, thank you for your prompt advice. It is very helpful for me. I have a few morequestions below :1. What kind ofpainting is suitable to be hungin the bedroom and living room to help in prosperity and good health ?2. I read in some fengshui books that the preferred color for master bedroom is color tone ranging fromwhite, beige to brown (close to nature). However, if these preferred colors happen to be the most unfavourable colors for my family,is it better to choose our favourable colors instead ? Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 28, 2009 Staff Share Posted June 28, 2009 1. Please note that us human beings have our ba zi (or individual and combined ba zi) elements.2. In addition, a home also has it's own "birth chart" or ba zi. Usually, it can be evaluated using Flying Star Feng Shui.A proper Feng Shui audit uses both Para 1 and 2 to determine the best colours for an area. This is normally how it is done, today. In the past, Feng Shui was not so "sophisticated" then and some either apply Kindergarten type of Feng Shui; where north = water, south = fire etc... Unfortunately, there are some who still uses this type of Feng Shui.
