myfs_140065
I'm buying a house that has a garage converted into a master bedroom. There is one step down into the room from the main portion of the house. To enter the house, you pass through an enclosed courtyard. The master bedroom is on the left with French doors leading into it from the courtyard. A covered carport is on the right. The front door is at the back of the courtyard and leads into the main part of the house. Is the courtyard sufficient to bring the bedroom into the house or should I hang mirrors as well? --------------------------------------l ll ll ll ll ll ll ll ll l l----- -------------- ---------l l l ll l l ll l l l---------- - - - - - - - l l
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 4, 2009 Staff Share Posted July 4, 2009 So sorry, you might want to rephase your question as I don't really understand it.Especially this statement: "Is the courtyard sufficient to bring the bedroom into the house or should I hang mirrors as well?" myfs_140065
Sorry, I mean that the bedroom is outside the main square of the house. I'm wondering if the courtyard entrance can be considered the main entrance of the house and lay the bagua over it that way to include the bedroom or if I need to do something special to correct the energy of having a piece of the house lay outside the square. The drawing below is a layout of the house.--------------------------------------l ll ll ll main area ll ll ll ll ll door l l----- -------------- ---------l l l ll bedrm l courtyard l carportl l l l---------- - - - - - - - l l gate
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 4, 2009 Staff Share Posted July 4, 2009 1. Please note that traditional Feng Shui uses the Flying Star Feng Shui. And a "pie chart" or a "9 box grid" is used.2. Some areas are known as protusion(s) and others are missing corner(s).3. What bagua chart are you referring to? Hopefully not the modern invention of a bagua chart where North = career, etc.... this is a modern invention.4. From your rough sketch, it looks more like a protusion. And can easily be looked at using a "pie chart" method of drawing out a Flying Star chart.
myfs_140065
I believe I've learned the modern method rather than the traditional method. I'll use the the Flying Star Chart pie chart to get it properly aligned. I believe it's a very large protrusion, almost making an L-shape.Thanks!
