1. Please note that I have used the site plan of Mackenzie 138 BUT changed the compass direction to illustrate the effects of continous evaporation of water from the swimming pool may affect residents particularly the very young - with respiratory problems.

2. In this EXAMPLE or ILLUSTRATION, notice the following:-

2.1. the entire block consists of a "U" shaped layout plan - where all the stacks are "joined" closely together.

2.2. Fortunately, the compass direction is just for illustration - not real. But it shows that depending on the height of the entire block, surely at least morning sun would shine on the swimming pool at least starting from 11am and on a sunny day, it will built up until 5 plus pm.

2.3 You will notice that the the length (or the longest side) of the swimming pool is aligned East to West.

3. Unit Types D, C & E are just directly above the swimming pool. And on days with very high evaporation of the "chemical water" in the pool, and assuming that not everyone opens their windows, some units on either side may be exposed to much more moisture from the constant evaporation from the swimming pool.

4. Here, especially those with very young or new born may be exposed to higher concentrations of such "moisture" especially if they are at lower floors; depending on the wind conditions and how wide they open their windows. And if other neighours don't open their windows - can be another factor.

5. Fortunately, on the next thread, will attach the actual layout plan with its actual compass markings. Here, the exposure of the swimming pool to direct sunlight is much lesser as the swimming pool no longer aligns itself with the east and west compass line.
