When using bagua in mapping wealth position for a retail shop, should I take the whole shop or the office inside as reference point?

1. It depends!

2. One critical factor is about size. Some offices are pretty large by itself. But based on your sketch, the office looks puny or small.

3. In addition, another clue is where is the "mouth" of the office. In the sketch, the mouth of the tiny office is within the "mouth" of the retail shop. Thus, since this mainmouth is where qi is suppose to flow intoTHIS premises, then logically for practical reasons; the mouth of the retail shop should be the "first choice".

4. Unless the office MAY have a separateentrance door;and if this door is used as the office's main door.
