Many Singaporeans are not easily fooled by people who sell Feng Shui products in the name of Feng Shui.
This is why many of such Feng Shui emporiums open shop and then close permanently.
I have seen these shops at:
Bishan North Shopping Plaza
Compass Point
EastPoint
Hougang Mall
Katong Shopping Centre
Punggol Plaza
White Sands
All these shops come and literally go away permanently.... more like FLY BY NIGHT operations....
Just imagine, if many are smart to avoid these emporiums; YOU SHOULD, also! Why sink with them?

AM, Dear
Cecil,After
browsing many many
feng shui
sites,
I came to one
conclusion: your site
is the
most sensible, reasonable and

helpful one of all. I've
been
to
sites where they
want to
sell you
just about
anything
and everything.
The
information they are willing

to give is so trivial and
one
senses that the only
thing
they
are interested in
is to
make money
and sell
you
products that might and
might
not fit in with your
decor or
your culture, and
of course
doesn't serve the
purpose of
curing and or
enhancing.Sorry
for the long
message, but I
have
a friend
who spent a
fortune buying
all types of
figurines to
cure then
to
enhance and
then eventually
all she got
was more figures
on
her
credit card and no
luck!I
believe that what one
should
do is
get your advise
first
because it
makes so much
sense and it is always

sincere. I also believe that

people should buy things
that
pleases their eye and
provide
a
sense of beauty
and
blanace.Again
sorry for
the
long message and thank
you for
a wonderful
site.Luna

The Feng Shui emporium depends on this maxim "Greed begets greed".
And in the name of Feng Shui; try to sell useless productsin the name of HUMAN LUCK.
Actually, Human Luck is family; our family. And ain't it better to bring our loved ones for a simple bonding meal or a short holiday then to donate our hard earned money to those Feng Shui emporiums?

Rather than buying all those useless products, why not both safe that money and bring family members for a "bonding" meal..

Traditional Feng Shui cure(s) use either 6 coins = big metal or 7 coins = small metal.
A string of 8 coins as shown in the example is a modern invention. Fuelled by the commercialisation of Feng Shui or rather "in the name of Feng Shui".
Furthermore, these commercialised coins are extremely large: often twice or more (larger) than the traditional original coins.
It has to do with the Chinese obsession with or the number 8. Which sounds like "prosperity".
We can say that Feng Shui drives commercialisation.

The "Feng Shui Emporium TYPE of Con Artist"

Step 1: He Identifiy your needs.

Step 2: Make himself appear to be the ONLY person who can help you.

Step 3: Unless you BUY from him, else it will not work at all!

Hello Master,

I have heard and read so many times about so many cures and tons of amulets to ward off bad luck and one such amulet that a lot of people are raving about nowadays is the arowana ring. One fengshui expert says if you wear this ring it cures most everything as far as the good flow of energy in and out of your house. It sort of replaces the need to have an arowana fish in an aquarium inside your house. Please enlighten me on this.

Oh and by the way, the fengshui expert says you can only buy it from him, anywhere else will not guarantee that its gonna work.

Thank you so much

Please note that these SGP$2x.xx plus tiny water features from a Feng Shui point of view are "play play" or not considered an effective water position.
Very often, just after purchasing it for 3 months or more, the owners give up on such water features.
The most obvious reason is that due to our climate (Singapore) the small amount of water in such water features dries up very fast. And SOMEONE has to frequently TOP up water to these fountains.
Here, often, I call those who purchase such water features: "A slave to them!"
These are pure commercial products. When the buying stops, the selling can!

I vividly remembered sometime around the 1990's; this lady wrote in to tell me that she had a geomancer who visited her. And sold her lots of products in the name of Feng Shui.
She "secretly" purchased the products and more of them from that geomancer. She had mounting debts and lots of roll over credit (credit card payments) due to the purchase.
She recounted that she was fearful that her husband would find out and divorce her.

Hello
Master,
I have
heard and
read so many

times about so
many
cures and
tons of
amulets to ward off
bad
luck
and one such amulet
that a lot
of people are
raving about
nowadays
is
the
arowana
ring. One
fengshui
expert
says if
you wear this
ring
it
cures most everything
as
far as the good flow of

energy in
and out of
your
house. It sort of
replaces
the
need to
have an arowana
fish
in
an aquarium inside
your

house. Please enlighten
me on
this.
Oh and
by
the way, the
fengshui
expert
says you can
only
buy it
from him, anywhere

else will
not guarantee
that
its
gonna
work.
Thank you so
much

The Feng Shui Emporium will want you to believe that everything they sell is "IN THE NAME" of Feng Shui.

Let me introduce you to the wonderful boss of the Feng Shui Emporium.
He is like a Casino Banker. And once you step into his premises, you are HIS!
