Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 7, 2009 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2009 1. Please see this illustration:-http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=26084PY W. wrote:would like to enquire that if the main windows of my living rom is looking at pointed roof of the opposite building, will it be considered ss poison arrows? Thus installing a day curtain, would effectively help to "screen" the poison arrow. This is the most common method without resorting to place any objects or items.3. Other Feng Shui cures range from:-3.1. 6 hollow rod wind chime(s) but not pracitical if it is faced near a bedroom window - noise pollution.3.2. A conVEX ba gua mirror.4. A fish tank next to the window with 7 gold fish and 1 black gold fish.5. The above are common methods.
myfs_140852
Hi Master Cecil,Those poison arrows are actually pointing upwards into the sky, i.e.somewhat like pointed roofs of a cathedral or castle, rather than directly pointing directly into the windows like those trellis/canopies. So, are upward-pointing arrows just as 'poisonous' as those directly pointing into your living hall arrows?Your advice is very much appreciated. Thanks! Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 8, 2009 Staff Share Posted September 8, 2009 1. Please note that a pointed triangle roof (looking skywards) if it is AT THE SAME level of your window, facing your home IS considered a poison arrow.2. And not just because it points skywards. 3. This is similar to the spine or a cross on a church. For eample, if the cross symbol is at the same level of your home; it is not because of the cross symbol but rather a cross is like a "trunk" of a tree or a pole; and it is this POLE that slices towards the window of a home; that is the cause for concern. 4. Thus, don't be too happy if it looks like a rocket ... about to embark into outerspace. So long as it is a pole like structure, it is akin to a "butter knife" slicing thru the window - if it is BOTH directly facing the window and AT THE SAME Level.5. Therefore for "such things" two conditions must be there:-AT THE SAME LEVEL &DIRECTLY FACING the window... myfs_140852
Hi, ok thanks! But anyway,it's not a cathedral so no crosses on top, just that the roofs are those pointing skywards. And yes, they are at my eye-level as I sit in my living room. So, may I adopt your counter-measures to thwart these poison arrows?Tks a lot!

Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 16, 2009 Staff Share Posted October 16, 2009 1. Facing direction is often looked at : based on the mouth of the apartment i.e. where there is the most yang qi coming in. Most likely would be south.2. Have elaborated thatfor facing directionin general, in terms of ranking:-NE /SW ranked one of the highest between now to 2021-2023South is the next best ranking (Hopefully is S2/S3 Flying star and not S1 facing)Lower down are the:East / WestNW / SE and North ranked the lowest.3. If you have more openings at South vs North and if you don't often open the condo door, then you can tap the qi coming from the South.
