I have been wondering about
colours and I need someone
to explain this to me. My
fengshui master told me that
my colours are grey, blue and
green for my apartment. The
question I have is this, does
my whole apartment need to
be in these 3 colours or each
room just have to have a
percentage of either grey,
blue or green and I can use
other colours, (i.e. 40% blue
and 60% other colours)?

Tha
nks.

1. In my opinion, it is always prudent to seek clarifications from your Feng Shui Master.

2. Usually; the individual person's ba zi is related to the Flying Star chart of each sector of a home.

3. For both husband and spouse; the binding element or the harmonous colours are selected for the two of them. Again, this is looked at in relation to the Flying Star sector(s).

4. Each individual family member's bedroom colours are looked at individually and again cross-referenced with the Flying Star Feng Shui.

5. Here, there are two levels of analysis: Flying Star Feng Shui (colour schemes) are associated with the "birth-chart" of a home.

6. Thus we, human beings have our birth-chart thus "ba zi"; the home has it's own "ba zi (via Flying star analysis). And these two are cross-referenced to come up with an accurate colour scheme for a home.

1. This illustrations (three pages) shows a standard Feng Shui audit done by Geomancy.net.

2. If you take a careful look: of Boy 1 (son) and Boy 2 (another son); you will notice that individually, each has his own best colours.

3. And if both of them were to share a bedroom, you will also notice that the combined best colours are prepared for them. (Please see the extreme lower right side of the chart.

4. In Singapore, be careful of who you engage as many Singapore practitioners just do down to your home; some even go for one visit and verbally say this and that.. and left one wondering... your best colours are " da da da di di" and there are no proper layouts provided to the clients!

5. It is good to hear that Singapore is regulating Real Estate agents! Let's hope that Singapore also regulates Feng Shui practitioners. As even in Ba zi; you may get many practitioners that provide you with the wrong information!

Further to what I had mentioned:-

1. Flying Star Feng Shui will determine what colours MAY or may not be used in a certain sector: For example a master bedroom.

2. For example, if the master bedroom sector is afflicted by #5 (bad yellow); it would be preduent to avoid using BRIGHT YELLOW in this bedroom.

3. Please see attachment. Two of the ba zi profiles are as follows:-

[1.]

Sample Mr A, Male - 23 Feb 1978 7.00 a.m. to 8.59 a.m.
(The husband)

Birth Element: Strong Fire

Favourable Element/Colour: Earth (yellow), Water (blue/black/gray), Metal (white/gold)

Unfavourable Element/Colour: Wood (green/brown), Fire (red)

Wealth Element/Colour: Metal (white/gold)

[2.] Sample Female Ba Zi, Female - 21 Feb 1976 3.00 p.m. to 4.59 p.m. (The wife)

  • Birth Element: Strong Water
  • Favourable Element/Colour: Wood (green/brown), Earth (yellow), Fire (red)
  • Unfavourable Element/Colour: Metal (white/gold), Water (blue/black/gray)
  • Wealth Element/Colour: Fire (red)

4. Individually, each individual has their own ba zi "colours". But for a PROPER analysis:-

Individual charts are related to the two partner's chart: and the binding elements are colours that are common to both of them. In this sample: Earth is the common denominator.

5. Overall, this family consists of three persons:
Sample Mr A and Sample Female are husband and wife. And their binding element or common bazi element is Earth element: Yellow, cream or beige:

Binding Element Analysis

This section you will find the list of Binding Elements which helps to bond or strengthen the relationship between each other.

Comparing between Binding Element

  • Sample Mr A & Sample Female Ba Zi
    Strong Fire vs Strong Water
  • Earth

  • Sample Mr A & Mr 18 June 1980
    Strong Fire vs Strong Wood
  • Earth & Metal

  • Sample Female Ba Zi & Mr 18 June 1980
    Strong Water vs Strong Wood
  • Earth & Fire

    6. Thus, for areas where both share especially the master bedroom; it is an interaction of their ba zi elements and colours and the house's birth chart Flying Star colours.

    7. The above is then the proper method to deduce what colours can or cannot be used in EACH area of a home.
