myfs_141460
HelloI have live in my home for over 5 years and it has been the worst 5 years I have financially.I like to know if my bed is facing the wrong way or is there anything I should put in my room to improve my financial. My room is in the SE, walking in from the door. As I walk in the window is righ in front and master bedroom is on the right side. I was told not to position my bed on the same wall as the door because my feel will be pointing out of the window and the front dooor is right below my window and supposely not a good thing. So I move my bed to have feet point to staight to bathroom, long hall with sink on left and shower, tub and toilet on the right, straight ahead isthe closet. Now mywindow is on the right end and door on the left end. is this the correct way to position my bed. I have alot of problems wiht my house that I need adv with. Please adv what should or can I do.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 23, 2009 Staff Share Posted October 23, 2009 The following questions should be considered:-1. Does you home (room) revolve only around your bedroom? If you only rent or "own" the confines of just this bedroom; 1.1 frankly, it is so much harder to boost your Feng Shui luck from just one tiny little bedroom. 1.2 Thus success in Feng Shui cannot be just based on just moving your bed from one side of the room to another etc.... 1.3 So long as there is an "opening" be it having one's legs face an open window or open door; this is not good - considered inauspicious - much like a coffin position.Vicious cycle of not knowing what is wrong:-2. Feng Shui is not only about moving your bed or activating something in a tiny bedroom. 3. Feng Shui is about: location, location and location. The external landform, site, building and your home. 4. For landed properties: key success factors include where is the drainage out of the home, the facing direction of your home etc...5. Thus, in order to be successful in seeing results based on Feng Shui: it has to be a holistic approach not just zoom in into say a bedroom etc.... 6. Proper application of holistic Feng Shui: will often yield positive results. Haphazrd or random "hit and run" type of Feng Shui as what you have mentioned will often come to nought (zero).Conclusion:7. If you really want to properly apply Feng Shui: it is unfortunately a daunting uphill task for the lay person. That is why, many have to pay for expert help.8. It is like ebony or ivory: DIY or Hire : no if's or but's.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 23, 2009 Staff Share Posted October 23, 2009 I know where you are coming from. In fact, Feng Shui is not a cure all. The key sucess factor of an already built up home is difficult to say:For example: a home is likecar. Some are lucky to have an unpolished gem and after a proper Feng Shui audit (e.g. wealth stars are at the good locations and these can be tapped).Unfortunately, some homes are like 13 year old run down 1,000 cc car. No matter how much one does to the home; one cannot pretend that after doing a Feng Shui audit the home becomes a mercedes benz or a bmw car. But honestly, the way you are trying to doing Feng Shui is like a "vicious cycle" as you are not even applying proper Flying Star (none at all) and Eight house etc... You are applying really rudimentary "trial and error" Feng Shui - and sometimes it is like "never ever going to know what is wrong".And as I had mentioned financial luck does not merely depend on just Feng Shui of your bedroom alone. Most likely your home has at least 3 major wealth leaks and perhaps your bedroom is just one of the minor wealth leak! Not to say a major wealth leak.DIY is an uphill task, so Good Luck!
