T-junction Help

2. The picture shows the main home i.e. with a silver car parked on it.

2.1 If this is the correct home; then actually; a row of something like five tall hedges or trees or plants around the height which just covers the roof of most of the home is disadvantages: although it screens or protects the home, but it creates a "yin" effect.

2.2 Thus in such a situation, there is no "bright hall" effect. Bright hall effect is space around the opening to encourage qi and even sunlight to collectively make a location - better.

2.3 If would be better instead to use the around 7 waist high plants next to the main road (Rainbow Drive) as a buffer or screen would in my opinion, be better, although I can understand, all the neighour's home have clear frontage. But because of the T-junction, this is best natural solution for it.

3. Fortunately, the home is quite a distance from the T-junction - thus this is indeed a plus point especially since there is no visible entrance door nor windows that directly face the T-junction.

4. Frankly, many of us have seen "worst" T-junction homes then this one.

Could you please help me find out the effects of T-junction for this house:

The owner has built a tall fence in front of their front door with plants and flowers, there is a water fountain inside the fence, in front of the front door, as well as couple of hollow wind chimes. There is no window on the wall facing the T, also the house is facing going traffic and not coming traffic.

Should we plant a tree infront of the wall, facing the T?

What are the other steps to take?

What they have is a fence that covers the front door/yard portion.
Closer to the fence they have Rose bushes, that just goes to the top of the fence.
THis fence creates a beautiful covered courtyard.

On the roadside they have kept many rose bushes in waist high. So I guess thats also good?

Thanks for this link. As the earlier posting was a google map and very unclear. As it only shows a front row of shorter bushes and quite a distance back a row of tall trees - no fence.

1. The wooden fencing in the link you provided is ideal. And an excellent choice - as it need not be "air-tight". The spaced out wood columns do help in circulating qi or air.

2. The tall trees along the wooden fencing is considered "nice" to have and not a must have.

3. Enclosed within the area is a reasonable garden for qi to "collect".

4. One of the main concerns about "T-junction" has more to do with commonsence, that of a car going out of control and ploughing thru a home.

5. Thus the trees are an added advantage as mature - healthy trees are very good at stoping cars - no good for the driver/ passenger but sort of good for the homeowner. But, really how often such things happen! Touch wood!

6. What is seen in the picture - perfectly good choice - from a Feng Shui point of view = Good. Can't have anything else better as even the side of the home facing the T-juction does not have an opening = equally good.

oh one after another...

Now the city wants to plant a tree and they insist the only place they can plant it is on the exact position on the road side, where it becomes like infront of the front door!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we do have the wooden fence and water fountain, but isnt this going to be bad for the Qi?

1. Yes, if the tree is exactly at the front door; it is symbolic of a "butter" knife slicing your main door.

2. Good news or bad news? If the tree is relatively young i.e. not taller than 1 metre, there is some reprieve for the immediate. Wait until it grows taller, thicker than it becomes a real threat!

3. Last resort? One "noisy" option is to hang a wind chime at the frontage - in-front of the main door. Another alternative option is placing a concave mirror above the main door.

4. As you had mentioned, Para 3 need not happen if the tree does not appear, ..there....
