dear cecil,
While auditing the house you have suggested that, the following to be taken
to measure the accuracy.
a: pillars of destiny -- in order to know the birth element and 80 year luck
period etc so that periodical remedies and suitable place for living could
be established.
b: 8 house theory in order to know the favourable directions and placements
according to favourable and unfavourable directions.
c:Flying star theory with regard to mountain stars and etc.
I have some some anamolies on 8 house theory and the same is as under. If you
find time, kindly let us know your comments.
1. 8 house is not applicable for the following structure as analysed.
EAST FACING HOUSE 90 DEG MAIN DOOR ENTRANCE.{as per compass reading}
S/W IS DEATH LINE. SUPPOSE TO BE TIOLET IN THIS AREA according to 8 house
theory.
Where as in this area {SW}fire point is being kept exactly at south west
corner since from very long time and people who are living in this layout
are getting more beneficial. After survey I find some of the observation and
is as under.
a}This area is topographically heigher in south and south west side.
b}A small pond is at the north east corner of this area. appx at 350 feet
distance.
From the above you can find, since the water point is at the lower area of
the north east, fire axis is higher than the water point as installed at
south west.this is beneficial from the point of water/fire element
factor. Here 8 HOUSE Theory method is not so attractive, rather the above is
simple.so while applying the 8 HOUSE THEORY method,I hope we may have to
consider other aspects like out side envoirnment also before applying the
above theory universaly {any where}
I once again seek your comments and views on the above.
regards,
santhu.

Dear Srikanth,
I am trying my best to understand your question.
You mentioned that there are anomalies under Eight House.

As the Eight House is personalised to an individual.
It is best used to find out a person's best personal direction.
It is also used to find out the degree of suitabiltiy e.g. if the death / diaster line falls at the main entrance door, the house is considered the most unsuitable for the person.
Next, the sector where the individual spent the most time e.g. in the bedroom should preferably be a good / auspicious sector.
You mentioned that people who are living

in this layout are getting more beneficial.

Here, I believe, each `people' you mentioned do have their individual Eight House Gua number. And are they all having the same Gua number.
It could be also that instead, the house chart for that particular sector based on Flying Star (or birth chart) of the sector is auspicious as opposed to an individual using the Eight House and finding that to him, the death line is at the toilet. What about other family members.
The Eight House is best used under current situtation to determine the personal best direction of an individual.
It is recommended to be used to check auspicious or inauspicious sectors particulary at the main entrance (bread winner) and for the rest of the family, their bedrooms.
It is understood that there are limitations of the Eight House. It cannot also be used to find a `cure' or `enhancement'.
One has to seriously take it that the best use is as stated above.

I hope you have understood what the Eight House Theory can and cannot be used.
If you have read the messages in this forum and on the external pages, I have always mentioned that other aspects like "out side environment need to be applied. This is where the major Shapes and Form School comes in. Others have also used the Flying Star also.

Sorry, I am really not sure what you are trying to say because, I have tried my best to always emphasise a well known fact that the Eight House is not a `cure all'. All its limitations are I believe, mentioned quite extensively.
For the reason that there are limitations in the Eight House Theory, we therefore have been discussing extensively on other Feng Shui Theories and concepts.
The most recent was the Flying Star House numbers to analyse high rise buildings thru `vertical' analsis where the existing Flying Star Theory looks at the horizontal analysis.
As you have mentioned, the Eight House is the easiest theory to understand because of its simplicity. We have not stopped there but continue to introduce more and more concepts.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
