Dear Cecil,
Yes, I am referring to the eight house theory. If I take one example, the best position of the bed in our bedroom, for me is north west while for my wife it is south east. She belongs to the WOOD sign and I to the Earth.
Our bedroom is in the north west corner of our flat and our main door (apartment door) opens east south east.
Our kitchen is in the southwest side of our flat.
We also have a mirror on a cupboard at our feet of our bed. Is that bad ?
Hope you can help with some feng shui advise.
Chetan

Dear Chetan,
Thanks for your clarifications.
It is good for you to read up on Shapes and Form School Feng Shui. It relates to the positioning of the bed.
URL:
http://www.geomancy.net/fs/bedroom.htm
I believe you should spent sometime going thru the materials on Shapes and Form in the above webpages or get a book on Shapes and Form.
This is because, it is more important to take into consideration Shapes and Form and give second priority or be concerned whether your bed should be at north west or south east. Other topics on the website includes the kitchen etc...
It is also good for you to look at some of the examples of the eight house at
http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house2.htm
I believe, it is good for you to read up as much as you can. I know the materials can be overwhelming but it is better to start with a `solid' base.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
