myfs_144104
Hi, we are thinking of buyinga HDB resale flat (in a prettygood location). Ourgua numbers are 5 (hub), 6(wife), 8 and 2 (kids). According to myamateurish interpretation, itseems like the unit is ok forus. There is somemorning and afternoon sunat an angle. But I'mconfused where the housefacing is? The balconyis facing SE, in front of amain road (angled), butbecause the unit is Quote 15floors, the noise level is notthat loud. The balconywindows are half body-length (typical HDB), butthere is another "balcony" atthe Dining area where thewindows are full-length(unusual), so I'm not surewhere the facing is now.The "balcony" is facingsome greenery and also partof a HDB flat at an angle (butcan see the block number"8x" quite obvious).Any sha-qi? We are planning to puta water fountain / aquariumat the balcony area (the onefacing SE) if we get the unit,is that ok? Is this a good/ok unitfor us? Is there anyparticular fengshui cures weshould be aware of? Thank you for yourkind advice!
myfs_144104
Dear Master Lee,Trying again to getyour help/advice. Tokeep the questionssimple:1) I would like to findout how to determine thedirection of the unit facing.I read your earlierposts that older 5-room HDBflats tend to have multiplefacings, if so how can weresolve it? I read otherarticles that the house facingis usually one that:- noisy- traffic- windy- most sunlightetc.Balcony 1 meets abouthalf of the criteria andBalcony 2 (full-lengthwindow) meets the otherhalf, so what is the best wayto determine facing, especially it is a high-floorunit?2) According to our guanumbers, theEast/Southeast/Southsections are bad for all of us(Spook/Disaster/Death/Irritation), which is where the sofas& TVs would be. Iam hoping to put a waterfountain and/or plants nearEast/Southeast sector, is thatok and sufficient? Please let me know ifyou want more (analyzed)information from me.Thank you for yourhelp in advance! The key success factor is based on a three-step-approach:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-ApproachFrankly, in an overview; what has the gua numbers of a person related to say placing a water fountain and/or plants near such and such a sector?Anonymous wrote:Dear Master Lee,2)...... to put a water fountain and/or plants near East/Southeast sector, is that ok and sufficient? This part has more to do with:1. Plotting out the Flying Star numbers of that SPECIFIC unit.2. Analyse and study the Flying Star numbers to see if a water fountain and/or plants can be placed at that location. If one skips para 1 and 2; might as well, honestly, throw a dice or flip a coin (50-50) type of decision making. Under this senario - it is anyone's guess.

myfs_144244
Need your confirmation on my understanding, my gua number is 6, does this relates to the numbers on the flyingstar chart at all? What the gua number for?
Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 11, 2010 Staff Share Posted March 11, 2010 These are some of the considerations:-1. One of the simplest methods is what information is required of or for the calculation of one's Gua (Kua) number and what information is required for the Flying star calculation.2. In general, what are the inputs required for Gua (Kua) calculation:-2.1. For Gua calculation: Male or Female and an individuals DATE of birth DD/MM/YYYY. With these inputs, one can work out one's Gua number as well as an individual's Eight Mansions (Eight Directions).3. For the Flying Star Feng Shui: You need the following inputs: When is the house built / Temporary Occupation Licence obtained and what is the facing direction of the home.Wee L. wrote:Need your confirmation on my understanding, my gua number is 6, does this relates to the numbers on the flyingstar chart at all? What the gua number for?4. In simplistic terms:-4.1 Flying Star Feng Shui is about charting the "birth-chart" of a home. Go figure out what the Gua number is. It cannot be for the birth-chart of the home right?
myfs_144244
Thank you for your reply, I supposed it's my birth chart then. So you should combine these 2 birth charts to determine the best directions in the house, right?

If one has even more time, can also go thru these links:-2.1 It is best to research and make sure that one fully understands a concept:-2.1.1 The Three-Step-Approach2.2.1 Flying Star Feng Shui as a Diagnostic Tool
