Dear Master,fficeffice" />

I would like to seek your advice on marriage and partner compatibility. Have read from some Feng Shui books that if a person?s house of spouse in the pillar is an element that control himself e.g. man is weak water and house of spouse element is earth, then the marriage life would be bad. Does that mean this poor guy should not get married?

What other factors should one consider if this is not the case?

1. In my opinion, there are other considerations.

2. For example, in this Sample Male person's chart, under

"Your Ten Deities & Key Characteristics"

Authority (zheng guan) = 4

3. Here, one considerationis that one can compare each partner's Authority (zheng guan).

4. For example, if his partner (wife's) Authority is higherthan his; then in Singapore context we can say that his wife will dominate him:

5. And in such a situation, his wife can be considered as " The Minister of Finance and Defence at home".Andthe man? His position in the home is akin to a "Minister without portfolio".

6. There are lots more that ba zi can derive information between the two parties.

7. Often, rather than reading between the lines; one may consider expert help from a geomancer to look at both partner's chart.

8.In my opinion, is for practical reasons, if one has already committed to the other person; for the female, especially if she has been "broken-in" then no point in seeking such help: this can lead to auto-suggestion and self-fullfilling prophecy!

9. If onehas fallen in-love; so be it.... don't look or dwell into this "art" of compatibility.... For example, in the past, many marriages survive very long especially between match-made couples! So what the heck! For girls, if you are not sure, don't open your fly trap to the man will do! Cheers!
