Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 7, 2010 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2010 Please see attachement:-1. Please note that I purposely modified this file to show that the sink and stove is in a "L" shaped formation or turn.2. For this kitchen, where it is affected by the Fire at Heaven's gate; the Part I: layout plan or it's variant is preferred over this one.3. For this layout plan, I am not going to cover where the stove should be in relation to the "Open windows" at the service yard. (Shown under the Part I : in apple green range from markings "A" to "B".4. In this sample illustration, so long as the sink does not "protude" into the area of the stove or vice versa, is fine or OK! No matter how, forpractical reasons, the stove no matterhow, would still be somewhere in thiskitchen. And again for practicalreasons, the sink should not beextremely far away.3. In thisattachment, the sink and stove are onthe same kitchen cabinet. Thus, ofcourse it is nice to have the sink andstove separated but often, if thekitchen allows; preferred that the sinkis 43 cm or 17inches or more away fromthe stove.3.1 If really no choice thenthe stove may/could/ no choice be aslittle as 6 inches or more. (Of courseor MORE is better).3.2 I am not going todeal with the Fire at Heaven's gate inthis sample illustration nor how far itshould be away from the apple greenmarkings of the range between thewordings "A" to "B".On 9/7/2010 7:46:05PM, tes nepoy wrote:hi, would liketo ask if itpossible if the kichensink isbeside the stove?please helpme....thank you! Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 7, 2010 Staff Share Posted September 7, 2010 There are more resources on the stove under this url:-http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Kitchen_Stove_%26_MoreThe picture in the above link shows that the sink is separated "correctly" in an L-shaped layout plan.
