myfs_148125
Hello,My family (husband and toddler) and I are moving into a loft apartment and I have somequestions. The living room, kitchen and bathroom are on the first floor, the bedroom on the second floor loft. When entering, bathroom is immediately on the left from the front door- the front door faces east and looks onto the back of the staircase to the second floor. There is a short hall upon entrance, so the staircase is a good distance from the front door and does not abruptly block entrance in any way.fficeffice" /> The kitchen is open to the living room (no separation), and both floors have high vaulted ceilings. I?m not sure about the living room, but the bedroom ceiling is slanted down, but no beams just flat. The living room has nice bay windows facing east. Also the staircase opens directly into the bedroom, which has no door; I?ve read this may not be auspicious. I will also need to put baby gates on both ends of the stairs to protect my toddler; I?m assuming these gates will have some effect on FS. I was thinking of putting bells on both gates, plants on both ends of stairs and always to leave one of the gates open, depending where we are in the house. The bedroom has a small/medium size window, high on the north wall. And lastly, the bathroom is directly beneath the bedroom, on the north side; not sure if that means anything. I was thinking of having the bed?s headboard against this north wall, as it will be opposite the stair entrance. Please advise on any ill configurations and remedies regarding what I?ve mentioned. Thank you very much! -Vanessa
