Understand that the tools used on your website to check one?s pillar of destiny is based on lunar or yin calendar. However, just to clarify, is there a need to convert lunar date of birth to solar date (or Hsia date) first before determining one?s pillar of destiny correctly?

Greatly appreciate your reply. Thanks in advance!

For the convenience of users in this website; all date format INPUTS are in Geogarian or Western dates. In Singapore, simply it should be the information as in the birth-certificate.
There are exceptions where the Western dates may not be accurate. For example, an elderly person; could have been born a few days or weeks earlier; but family members only reported the birth as they have to go to register their births. Thus, for such elderly persons; if they mentioned that their lunar dates are more accurate; then again for INPUTS to our system; have to reconvert it to Western to key in the dates. Once once, when generating a report; usually, one can re-confirm that the correct lunar date is reflected.

The computation is transparent to the user. And many of our reports will also; later show both the INPUTS: Western birthdates as well as the Lunar birthdates.

Dear Master,
Happy New Year to you!
Most people in China usually use Yang (or Solar) calendar and also celebrate their birthday base on such date. Does that mean I need convert it to Lunar date first before usingtheBa Zi calculator?

Please note that for Geomancy.net and all it's various calculators; for user convenience; all your inputs of any dates of birth should be western date of births.
Our system will automatically convert all dates of births into the Lunar dates. This is because many people, even many younger Chinese do not know their exact lunar birth-dates.
