2.1 For the Chinese, symbolism or phonetic sound of the name for bat in Mandarin is `Fu' or Luck. For this reason, the Chinese consider it lucky.

2.2 In many cases, you can see wood cravings on panels with Five bats. This symbol of five bats together signifies: health, long life, wealth, love of virtue and natural death.

Seems to have even more bats. This few nite, with the windows close can see and hear quite a number of bats attempting to "get in" as banging against the window is visible. Wonder what is the phenomena.

In my opinion, this seems unusual; if it occurs only in the night; most likely they are searching for food. Make sure that all your food especially fruits are out of their reach.
If one has an altar full of fruits, then do look out or as you have done close all openings,

Living in the flats for over 20 years. Offering ancestor, god etc with fruits is very common. But the bats activity were unusually heavy. Oh ya, even day time a few will park outside the windows.
