What you mentioned sounds logical.


However, since many herbs comes or derive there nourishment from the soil (earth); some may associate it with earth.


Overall, a tradition Chinese practitioner often can be associated with the wood element.


Again, there is no absolute right or wrong answers.

It makes sense. Feng shui for example can be seen as belonging to the earth element but on the other hand it deals with that I imagine more like the water element because of its flow.
