Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 20, 2011 Staff Share Posted September 20, 2011 In my opinion, there are two contrary view points:1. The most common from a Flying Star Feng Shui is: often one hears this saying "Such a waste that the current prosperity is located in the kitchen".1.1. For example, for the current period 8; instead of having the current prosperity especially double auspicious wealth sectors at the frontage; the current prosperity is "wasted" in the kitchen area. What a waste!1.2. Here, if the double #8's can also be at the living room area; or area of activity where one can enjoy the influence of good qi. 1.3. For some, the kitchen and yard area can be "messy" and if the double #8s are located there; make sure that the kitchen area is tidy; and laundry (yard) as clean as possible: not saying that one cannot hang clothes, underwear or even bra at that area. Just make sure that it is "presentable".2. From a Eight House concept; the best way to understand is the site for an auspicious gravesite.2.1. Here, since the dead person is stationary; under the Yin concept of Eight House (Compass School) Feng Shui; it is always preferred that the dead is "sitting" at a good SECTOR e.g. head lying down facing a good sector vs someone sitting up facing a good sector.
