Is this Divider create a slice ?

Mr Cecil ,
We just renovated our house, we added a divider beside our bed to block the bedroom door at the side, however, I found it seem to create a slice to our bed?

Usually sorry to add the pun "sane people don't place a partition" between their bed and the bedroom door especially if the bedroom is miserably small. Here, a partition if it is solid (air-tight) would often cause "stagnant qi" area for those sleeping at the "corner" closest to the partition wall. This is more of a concern than what you mentioned although it is equally not so good sounding..
