myfs_152173
Master Cecil,I joined your forum only recently. Read about your warning on undertaking renovations in the East in 2011. Too late for me, I did some major renovations and it has been a very tough year. My home is North facing with a natural reserve at the back (South) of the house. A creek flows through the reserve. My understanding is the back of the house should be protected (tortoise). I do have some small trees in the backyard. I have changed the landscape in the East by removing some old trees. In 2012, I want to plant a hedge all along the boundary wall upto the back boundary wall. I also want to build a retaining wall on the back boundary and grow a hedge. Can I go ahead and plant a hedge along the east boundary wall and build a retaining wall along the back (south) boundary wall to plant a hedge on top, or should I wait until 2013? Can you please give some advice. I do not want to make the mistake of 2011. Regards

Therefore, both Shapes and Forms and Flying Stars should best to looked into, for peace of mind. Otherwise, it is all trial and error....
