Hi Master Lee,
I am having trouble understanding if Telok Blangah is a place with really good fengshui or very bad fengshui. I am looking at a few units at Telok Blangah Towers and have been discussing fengshui with my family. For good fengshui, the house has to face the sea and backed against a hill. The unit I am looking at, the door opens into the North, i.e. when you enter the house through the door, you immediately face South and if you exit the house into the corridor you face North.
From internet, some have mentioned that means that house is South Facing so the unit has the mountains behind and facing the sea which is good fengshui. But my mom is saying that the unit is actually North facing since the door is North facing. That means my career will be blocked by the mountains and wealth will be swept away by the ocean.
This is quite confusing since I am getting two very different sides of the story. Appreciate if you can shed some light. Also how near should certain landscape features be in order to affect the house fengshui? The sea in this case is about 1km South and Telok Blangah hill is about 600m North.
Look forward to your kind advice.
Thanks,
Terence

Hi Master Lee,
Thanks, I have read the article but it doesn't really address my question. From a very general point, looking at the landscape of telok blangah. Is it considered a place of good fengshui?
As per my previous, Mount Faber is in the North and the sea is in the South. Generally speaking it should be in the opposite?
I am still trying to figure this out so pardon me if my question is very basic.
Thanks.

These are further considerations:-
http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=29725&new=),
1. By coincidence from now to 2023, based on Flying Star Feng Shui you are lucky that South is ranked 2nd only to SW and NE. And North ranks much lower.
2. From the above article, do take note that SW and NE not mentioned by you has the best Feng Shui.
3. Facing an open space where a bird can fly freely is also considered VIRTUAL water.
3.1 And not necessarily do or die must face the sea. Think about it.
4. In addition, you are also missing another factor: How suitable is the apartment to you?
5. In my opinion, if you happen to be an East group person, then South is or can be a good choice vs North. As again by coincidence, from now to 2023, South is better facing than North.
6. For the estate, some stacks of Block 80C faces Northand the Kong Hock Keng Temple. Often, under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, if possible, avoid.
