Please inform me of ANY books on Flying Stars that are printed in
english
Thanks
The only book which should be easily available in Engish on Flying Star
happens to be Lillian Too's Chinese Numerology in Feng Shui - The Time
Dimension. There are some errors in the book, but at least it is in English.
Also don't expect everything to be mentioned as there are lots of things not

mentioned in her book.
Other then that, I think you can also try Raymond Lo's book, but his does
not tell you anything about calculation.
If you can wait, we are working on the Flying Star course (not sure if a
book would be publish from the materials or not) but it will be in English,
encompassing many areas of the Flying Star etc. We cannot promise users as
to the date of launch. We believe in not rushing to come up with a course or
book, but rather making sure that the quality and contents are correct and
detailed enough.
I believe users who had taken our courses, books, reports and advices know
our level of quality and standards:)
Every printed materials course or books which Geomancy.Net releases are
carefully thought out and compiled with quality information rather then
quantity information. We intend to share with users all forms of thoughs
available in a particular subject.
Just like Flying Star, I believe it would be new to many of the users here
if I mentioned that there are:-
1. Lunar version vs Xia version
2. Compass formula vs Calulation method
3. Flying Star for Day, Hour, Minute, Second
4. There are certain times which you cannot open a luo pan or perform Flying
Star Calculation otherwise the practitioner will be in trouble?
All I can say is that Feng Shui is complex and we intend to let users know
about every possible method and information as far as we can from our
ongoing research:)
Warmest Regards
Robert Lee

Dear Robert,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply.I just found your forum today and I think it is wonderful.
I already have Lillian Toos' book on numerology. Are the mistakes in calculation or analysis? This is the only book I've found on Flying Stars and I would be very grateful to find out what the mistakes are. I have heard her teacher is a Great Feng Shui Master, so I am surprised to hear there are mistakes. I am looking forwards to your book.
Best Wishes,
Bill

I forgotten exactly where as it has been a very long time ago which I
noticed the error, but the error is in one or two charts. There are some
error as it is not consistent with the formula she had deduced for the
movement of the stars forward and reverse. Thus, one or two of the charts I
think got the stars movement wrong.
Her steps for deducing the forward and reverse sometimes do not match the
charts she used for example. That sort of minor error which I believe are
due to either publishing error or as mentioned Flying Star is pretty
complicated and she could have made some slight human error. Normally, I
would recommend you cross-reference with another book, but for Flying Star,
unfortunately, there isn't much books to refer to.
As for the analysis and interpretation of the stars, most of it is pretty
ok, except that she did not go into details about a great deal of many
things. But it is expected, this study is pretty complex. In any case, most
of the information in the book is correct. She uses the Lunar charts, which
I also find more accurate then another method the Xia charts.
Anyway, it is a start for at least learning the fundamentals of Flying Star
calculation. If you are in doubt make use of the Flying Star Chart generated
by the Geomancy-Online which had been verified thoroughly since version 3.0.
Just remember her books also shows the charts in a South-North method, as
for the site I have simplied it for users to easily use the chart by
reversing the charts for North-South analysis.
In any case, that book provides some easy foundation for users to begin
learing Flying Star, just be aware that the book is not 100% error free.
Hope you understand, currently both Cecil and myself are pretty busy, and
are unable to go through the book to give you the exact details.
Warmest Regards
Robert Lee

Hi Bill
Here in Perth Raymond Lo's books are available at "Alternative" book stores. Not sure where you are, but get into Raymond Lo's web site. His books are listed and you can order them via the Net.
His email is info@raymond-lo.com.
Books are good reading.
Cheers

Dear Bill,
If your local book store does not have the books, you can order it from
Amazon.com. (Alternatively you should be able to purchase it from other
major cyberbook stores e.g. Barnesandnobles.com.
Books by Raymond Lo:-
1. Feng-shui and Destiny by Raymond Lo.
I think this is one of his first books. I call it a "classic book"
because it is clearly written and in general gives you a basic understanding
of all well known Compass School methods of Feng Shui.
Such as the Eight House Theory, a short write-up of Pilalrs of Destiny
and a " dab " of the use of Flying Star Theory and the use of the three
coin method in I-Ching divinity.
Other of his books
2. Feng Shui and Destiny for Families: The Indispensible Guide for Every
Home by Master Raymond Lo, Times Books International, Inc., August 1998,
ISBN 9812040404. He uses Feng Shui and Four Pillars to understand and enrich
your family life and relationships.
3. Feng Shui & Destiny for Managers by Master Raymond Lo, Times Books
International, ISBN 9812046208. Introduction to basic Chinese metaphysics
for risk assesment.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil Lee
