Where to commit suicide? a one-way ticket

This postcard was taken in the 1970's. Therefore, there were few tall buildings. The tall buildings on the right of the photos like People's Park Complex and other buildings were only constructed after the 1970's..
Previously; the building covered by clay (reddish) bricks was the only tallest building around in the 1960's. It is the forerunner of the now Housing Development Board (HDB).
And guess what... it is a diving platform for a one-way trip to HELL!
In the past;?one could often?see an old lady standing on the road cursing at the building. Why? That was the building where her son tried to be a superman.. but failed miserably.. or rather fatally!
