myfs_158742
Dear Master Cecil,Happy Chinese New Year to you. I miss the drumming and lion dance since leaving Singapore 20yrs ago, its quiet here with giant kangaroos dancing instead, and thawed imported expensive thai durians and HongKong fortune cookies from supermarket, never quite the same celebratory chi!I am amazed by the depth of fengshui ancient knowledge that I only recently felt guided to read u. And research books etc. maybe it is Master Lao Tzu that had been in my dreams trying to wake me up to the truth of our existence as the unnameable dancing TAO! Then I stumbled upon your impressive website and warms my heart to discover you are from Singapore!I am hoping if you can kindly help clarify afew queries. We just bought a block of land and trying to design layout of house based on feng shui principles. the more I try to apply all the various methods to achieve the best fengshui "recipe" the more variables and trade-offs I have to consider.1) attached is sketch of land and surrounds, I am unsure of whether we have the Dragon and tiger, tortoise and pheonix setup. I read that roads can also be taken as like waterways to determine its impact on house, but in addition to the quiet road around our land there are also 2 creeks running nearby maybe 30 metres away not withi in view.if house faces north, does it meet the 4conditions? What about facing south?2) husband-kua 9, water ox; me-kua 4, water boar; daughter-kua 6 earth ox; son-kua 7 metal rabbit. So parents are East group, little children both West Group people. I know the breadwinner, husband's, good location should be priority which his is Li trigram (south facing house). Both our good locations are bad location for kids.to be in keeping with the neigbourhood and road, it seems our house should be north or maybe south facing. But south facing might not have the active chI from the road that facing north would have, also south is looking over the valley and into neighbour's backyard.3)I have looked up flying star charts for period 8 houses, and trying to see which chart gives the best and most number of good sectors for assigning rooms layout and then adopt the particular direction to face the house.N1 facing hse with double 8s and HoFu numbers1/6, NE1 Facing hse -sum of tens, NE2/3 - parent string combination, as well as SE facing auspicious special combinations of numbers. Of course I am tempted to adopt the parent string, NE2/3 but when I looked into the meaning of each mountain and star numbers that are afflictions I am unsure what would be most suitable chart. I know the powerful parent string will override the afflicting number in each lushu grid provided we also do the cures necessary, but is it wise to just pick this assuming its more powerful than sum of tens?My husband and I have been in very troubled marriage for many years and with a 4yr old daughter and 2yr old son, we recently been facing whether to divorce or make it work again. I read that number4 and 9 kua numbers are very good partners but not sure maybe it was bad fengshui in last house that contributed to worsening marriage. A few of the flying star charts though powerful but have grids with numbers meaning affliction of relationships via flirtation, sexual advances, high yin etc (4,7,9) that I am worried if the cures put in place may not counteract these bad energies fully. I am not sure which chart would be more suitable to adopt in light of marriage and east-west group combination persons, of course best health and financial soundness.4)then also trying to see the flystar house chart chosen meets the important direct and indirect spirits or not, plus all the other elements compatibility, trigrams etc. How to know what to choose or consider for the house design just to have a simple humble healthy and happy life devoted to peace for all sentient beings via spiritual fulfillment according to one's true soul destiny?I bow to you and thank you deeply for your help and wisdom.Best regards,May
