myfs_159326
Dear Master CecilBase on Shapes and forms, what do you think of this house? Main gate has a slope &isfacing a neighbour's compound wall, House is higher than the road, it has a mountain close behind and steps leading to the front porch & main door (pls refer to picture attached), the 2 rooms in the front porch is shorter than the main house. Is this house ideal? Is this house considered a U-shaped house? it has got a room on the left & right. Thanks, regardsBenedict
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 22, 2014 Staff Share Posted July 22, 2014 These are some considerations:1. In general, in a micro-Shapes and Forms; it looks acceptable.2. Flying star can be used : macro and micro. And even a U-shaped can be plotted differently. myfs_159326
Dear Master CecilI've attached more photos for your reference (Shapes & Forms - more photos.jpg)If we view from inside the frontal locationarea towards its facing direction, it has a beautiful scenic view of the mountains in front (pls refer to View from inside Front Porch.jpg). I suppose these are very negative aspects in terms of Shapes & Forms found in these photos??(1) Even though the house is on higher ground, it'ssitting by the side along a sloping road (a 2-way road), one going up slope, the other down slope.(2) There's an open drainage that runs outside the frontalwall as shown in the photo.(3) There's also a small drainage in the front compound that flows out by the side of the main gate. Are Steps facing the main gate including slopes considered major leaks?Does this house still pass the test? Thanks regardsBenedict
