In my opinion, these are some considerations:

1. The idea is that one is not married to the waterfall but rather married near-to a water fall.

1.1. One would be concerned if one is married to a waterfall. But as this is not a permanent situation; and so long as the waterfall does not interfere with the wedding e.g. water from the fall splashing towards persons or food; then generally Ok.

1.2. Or if the noise of the waterfall virtually drowns the ambience and interferes with the announcements and activities of the wedding.

2. Most of the above has to do with common sense.

3. Auto-suggestion and self-fulfilling prophecy : always check with one's elder's first. For example a grandma (matriarch) to see if she has any taboos if any). If no, then, the road to having a wedding, here sounds better.

4. Did you consult a "crazy" geomancer. If you had consulted a geomancer who practises kindergarten ba zi; clue is where the geomancer tells you or your partner that he/she is fire person and to avoid water etc etc... then if you had encountered such a person; choose to believe or not to believe their words.

5. In fact, I have been to weddings overseas that are near to (man made waterfalls etc..)

6. And there are even those who got married wearing suba diving gear in a large tank... etc..
