André
Hi everybodyI am remodeling a house and I had the idea to put spots into the ground to shine onto the doors when they are closed. It would look really nice to lighten up the room with these spots shining at the white doors. Is this good or bad in terms of feng shui? Thanks for your answers and suggestions!Andr? Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 7, 2000 Staff Share Posted January 7, 2000 Dear Andre,In my opinion, there should not be any impact of what you have described. Usually, the emphasis is more to see if the `main entrance' door is protected from `harm' i.e. poison arrows. As such, floorings are of secondary importance. Where possible, floors should ot be entirely dark. The house should not look `dark' but bright. Especially the living room making it more yang than yin.Contrast to the bedroom where it is more for sleep which should be more yin than yang.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 12/27/99 7:51:16 AM, Anonymous wrote:Hi everybodyI am remodeling a house and Ihad the idea to put spots intothe ground to shine onto thedoors when they are closed.
