Hello,

My house was built in 1961(period 5), but an extension was built from a car port recently (unsure of exact year, but in period 8).  I am not sure what year to use to create my flying star map.  The original date period or the one from the extension?  Or do you ever use one period for one part and another period for another part?

Thank you in advance!

Since this is an "old" house; and if you or you know the history of this house should instead draw out two charts to see which is more accurate (relate to the history);

Often, most Geomancers should be able to tell based on the clues or questions asked;

Thanks, I don't know much about the history, except that it sold for super cheap in 2012 after the real estate crash, then was resold to us for huge profit on their end in 2015 after adding the addition.  Perhaps that's a sign it went from 5 energy to 8?  What would you say?

Another thing that makes me think it might be an 8 now, is that when I chart it like that, it's a Double Facing, supported by the financial gain of the previous owners, our own financial situation, and the fact that the previous owners divorced, and I and my husband went through some tough times.  There is a school across the street, with a road between us, would that be enough to remedy the 8 on the left?

These are some considerations:

1. Try to determine where are the worst flying star numbers for each period.

2. If they match then for certain, "these are the areas" that one might consider. The two worst stars are #5 (and can be made worst with #9 or #2) and #3.

2.1 If so, try to disarm them.

2.2 Can also fine tune and see if one can make it better by charting out the yearly stars such as 2016 and soon 2017 stars.

3. For the rest of your description; to me is not relevant as I can't rely on a few lines and make heads or tails of it.

4. Selective use of various charts of different periods is not the norm.

5. A higher success rate then is to apply the annual stars than under Para 4. Above.
