Black and white colonial style. Do you know why it is called black and white? This is because of the wood that is varnished or protected by black coating:paint. And all these homes were whitewashed. Thus the house looks like a white house with black stripes/wooden beam outlines..Still find one house at Fort Road that was converted into kids school.
