Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 17, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 17, 2017 Waterway Sunrise II Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans waterway-sunrise-ii.pdf HDB Waterway Sunrise II BTO launched in February 2017 The planners of this estate literally took advantage of it's 1-storey basement car-park and placed both of this site's Precinct Pavilion at this basement. The good thing is that the precinct pavilions are out-of-sight of all units. Thus whenever there is a funeral, it will be a "below-the-ground" event. This is not-common but lets see. Hopefully the incense or such burnings would not trigger the smoke detectors. Alternatively, the authorities may just ban such things during a funeral. Frankly, in Singapore, precint pavilions does not hold any "exciting activies" such as concerts, maybe Malay weddings. It is interesting to see what the atmosphere is like during such an event in a basement type enviroment vs on the street level. Circled in red are the two precinct pavilions of HDB Waterway Sunrise II at Block 653 x2:- Kind of odd to name both precinct pavilions Block 653. But at two different ends.. Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 17, 2017 Author Staff Share Posted August 17, 2017 Case Study: Is there an issue if my unit directly faces the cross on a church's roof? Depending on where the church places a cross. Some churches place it on the tip of their buidling or on the face of their building. There could even be a possibility of such a cross facing a unit at either Block 653B stacks 56 or 58. If so, this is considered inauspicious. In this example: If the above cross is shown as a red marking X, below:- Then it could be at the same level of a specific floor of stack 58, then this is considered inauspicious to face such a "church cross-spine"

Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 11, 2017 Author Staff Share Posted September 11, 2017 4 hours ago, PooPoppy said: Dear master lee. what is your view on stack 180 and 34? Generally, Stack 34: 1. Oops! Of all places a stack next to the eating house: lower floors can sometimes get the smell and noise: "Lower your voice after 10.30pm"... 2. Lower storeys got the edge of the Electrical Sub-station ESS aimed towards it. Higher floors no issue. Just the stigma of living close to an ESS. 2.1. Scientifically no issue with living near to an ESS. Many even live directly above it for years. But tell it to the future potential buyer. 3. Perpetual afternoon sun all year round. Not direct.. but slanted at an angle. Hopefully the master bedroom wall at west is not constantly bathe with afternoon sun. And at even 7 or 8 pm.. the heat soaks or oozze out into the master bedroom. 4. Low floors also got traffic/vehicle/bus/motor-bike noise. Otherwise, higher floors has good Shapes and Forms in the form of good waterway views. Stack 170: 1. Stack 172 has a sharp corner from it's neighbouring block across the waterway sunrise I 2. Stack 170 overall has better Shapes and Forms then stack 34. Other than the afternoon sun soaking into the master bedroom wall. 3. Low floors expect afternoon sun from Punggol East Road. Otherwise, better than 34. Better stacks are those in 654B facing the waterway.

DINEy
Hi Mr Lee, I understand that you do not do reviews on stacks but I was reading your other post on HDB Sundew (posted on 2014) which was a watercourse that "curves" and some of the blocks are considered inauspicious. For waterway sunrise 2, would this be applicable to it as it's a man-made reservoir? And if you can give your insight on which blocks are actually affected (good and bad) or there is no difference? Like most blocks for wwsr2, they are facing parallel to the water except for blk 654b where there are 4 units at the corner (would it be considered "curve") of the watercourse? Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 27, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted February 27, 2019 What is a Feng Shui Sampling [FSS]? 1. Frankly, this can be generalised as a FSS by taking a random development. 1.1. To give an example that water courses can affect one's Feng Shui. So happens it was HDB Sundew. 2. And not for anyone to make a comparison. LOL! Next....
