Actually the more blades the more air-flow + less wind vortex to the fan blades = a smooth flow. For example these fans are like cars with V8 or V12 engines. If not, fans hung so high will wobble noticeably and may even cause it to come away from the mounted bolts. These fans hang as high as 4.8 metres high. Utra quiet DC motors.
