Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 28, 2017 Staff Share Posted November 28, 2017 HDB Tampines GreenCourt BTO launched in November 2017 Sales Brochure: Site Plan and Floor Plans tampines-greencourt.pdf 1. The 4 and 5 bedroom Type of this development spots a new variant where the master wardrope area is sunk-into the passageway of the master bedroom. 2. From a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui point of view; this is good or a plus point. As it makes the usuable space as rectangular as possible. 3. Please take a look at this illustration:- 3.1 Often, the master bedroom wardrope is an "L-shaped" design. So that there can be more wardrope space. 3.2. In doing so, if the wardrope is too close to the bed, there is a poison arrow of around 40cm. As in the above example. 3.3. It is also common sense to avoid this. Especially if one has a child. And the tendency for the child to jump on the bed. And may even hit their head against this sharp corner of the wardrope. 3.4. The best is to either round the cabinet or a rounded set of shelving or install a small side-table that is of even height as the bed. 4. The rest of the 4 and 5 bedroom types of Tampines GreenCourt also uses this "sunk-in wardrope" layout design for the master bedroom:- This is the overview of November 2017's BTO launch:-
FANG
Can you advice which stack is better?
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 3, 2018 Author Staff Share Posted February 3, 2018 Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is considered less than ideal to have the main entrance door close to the central rubbish bin(s).
Keith
Dear Mr. Lee, From the picture attached, on the area marked, do those blocks fall into the category of Bad Fengshui where "Road Leading to the House"? I am in doubt because the traffic of the Road while moving in the direction straight towards the Stacks enclosed in the Red Circle, bend to the right to the side. From the house, the road (Avenue 12) and it's traffic should be seen to face the frontage from the distance that will bend away to the side when closer to the units. Kindly advise. Aside from this, will you be reviewing this Project, i.e. Flying Stars, Good and Bad of this project, etc.? What are the recommended stacks for a West Group people? Hope to hear from you soon? Thank you.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 2, 2018 Author Staff Share Posted May 2, 2018 Yes, very likely. However, it depends. If it is aimed towards a window; drawing a day curtain permanently is a possible solution. If aimed towards exactly at a wall; then no issue. If balcony... Yu Ling
Thank you Mr Lee. Seems like a few poison arrows as from the map. Staircase design pointing master bedroom window. Main staircase pointing left to the living room. And unit 127 from GreenDew pointing towards other bed room. Is it a very big issue? We are looking at Unit #311 at Block 635B, Tampines Greencourt.
