Dina
I am planning to put in a Koi pond or water feature in the SE corner of our small back garden which is in the east. Is this a good idea - I have heard that water in the back of a home is not auspicious? Please advise. Thanks Cecil.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 21, 2000 Staff Share Posted January 21, 2000 Dear Dina, 1. Apologise for the delay in reply.2. Under the four symbolic animals concept, ideally, the back of the house has to have a `solid backing'.This is based on the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui and the best advise is not to have a water position behind the house.3. Usually, if we also plant a tree or plant at the back of the house. The result is that the `shade' especially if the trees grows tall and `large' would result in the location becoming yin. This is in addition to the water element which itself is yin.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/6/00 3:07:48 AM, Anonymous wrote:I am planning to put in a Koipond or water feature in theSE corner of our small backgarden which is in the east.Is this a good idea - I haveheard that water in the backof a home is not auspicious? Please advise. ayn
The back of my home faces NW, and is a large body of water. However, my front door faces SW, so perhaps the back of my house is actually NE?? This is the problem w/ a side entrance LOL! Thanks for input re: whether or not this is inauspicious, and if there are remedies.
