Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 25, 2022 Author Staff Share Posted December 25, 2022 Another branch of Old Airport Road Wanton mee Don’t like the garlicky ingredients in the noodle. Will remember to avoid this brand in the near future
Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 30, 2023 Author Staff Share Posted May 30, 2023 Woodlands 888 Plaza Food Court $4.30 Fairly good. As the sauce smells very fragrant… even when you walk past someone eating this noodles. Let down was the standard typical old style char siew… and wanton soup…which has a strong hint of ginger.. which somehow dominates the wantons… Otherwise, pretty good.. although it spicy at all-:( Good effort to fry the onion shallots… as opposed to buying packets of ready made stuffs…

Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 19, 2023 Author Staff Share Posted November 19, 2023 $4/- Very “QQ” or very chewy Cantonese style noodles Often not sure where chilli sauce has garlic. If so, will request for plain with tomato sauce. When young, my favourite food was Char Kway Teow, and yes with garlic. But as I grew older…unfortunately don’t really like it at all. Ask instead for more green chillies. LOL Overall, simple, flavourful and nice!
