CloudLeopard
My bedroom has a "trey" ceiling; they are very popular here, so I could not find a home without one.The ceiling extends flat from the walls of the room for about 2 feet, then rises on an incline for a few feet, then is flat up high in the middle of the room, with a ceiling fan in the middle. To me, this is like sleeping under a beam (the sharp line where the first flat part shifts to being sloped) AND a sloping ceiling, at once. My upper back, where the slope and the sharp line fall when I am in bed, has been killing me since I moved in.What can I do?
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 10, 2000 Staff Share Posted January 10, 2000 Dear Cloud,Although, I have some idea of what the `tray' ceiling looks like but have not seen one closely so cannot (fully) comment on how `bad' it is.Overall, two Feng Shui `tools' are available:1. A pair of flutes in a `Ba Gua formation'----- / \ 2. WindchimeOne has to be cautious if one uses it in the room or at any other locations in the house.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/8/00 12:52:30 AM, Anonymous wrote:My bedroom has a "trey"ceiling; they are very popularhere, so I could not find ahome without one.The ceiling extends flat fromthe walls of the room forabout 2 feet, then rises on anincline for a few feet, thenis flat up high in the middleof the room, with a ceilingfan in the middle. To me, this is like sleepingunder a beam (the sharp linewhere the first flat partshifts to being sloped) AND asloping ceiling, at once.
