In my master bedroom, the bed is placed so that it faces the door. To reach the door you must walk up two steps.
When I lay on my bed, I face the door. To my left is a built in cupboard with mirror doors, and above my head is a window.
Is this bad feng shui that my bed is under a window and faces a door, causing a 'channel' perhaps?
I have bedside table in between the bed and the cupboard that has a phone and lamp on it.

Dear Ange,
1. Ideally the bed should not face the door. (or the leg position) face the door). However, if there is no other choice, you really cannot help it.)
An alternative, if there is space between the bed and the door is to place a low linen cabinet between the bed and the door.
2. For the window above the head, this has less to do with Feng Shui than, privacy and security considerations. (In case of a robber etc..)
You can easily use oplaque film if the window is `see thru' to ensure, privacy for yourself. If it is part of your home, then, this should not be a problem.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

  • 4 weeks later...

Would a blanket box suffice as a low linen cupboard I am in the same position "coffin position" and my health can't take too many knocks. I was told crystal quartz between the bed and the door was the best thing. ???? please.
