Location: Woodlands Street 31

Not many prata stalls in Singapore sells crispy prata.

The prata should not be salty or burnt.

In addition, this stall’s curry sauce is “creamy” and full of fragrant flavours:

Eaten once a while is ok. Not for daily consumption.

Two other locations has this:

1. Jalan Kayu

2. Joo Chiat : Mr and Mrs Mohgan's Super Crispy Roti Prata. Formerly the elderly couple were located at Crane Road. Their specialty is the sambal gravy to go with their crispy prata.

Prata is acceptable. But the mutton curry gravy is full of small splintered bones, very salty and dry.

Even at lunch time; kinda like having indigestion... never again from this stall/shop.

Same shop. Their saving grace is their plain pratas.

Prata is okay... partially crispy. And their fish curry nice. Especially so eaten in the early morning.

He did crush the pratas before serving. Many rarely does this any more.

Location: Blk 476 HDB Hougang Capeview NTUC Foodfare coffeeshop $3/- for two reasonable sized egg prata.

A pity, some of the edges were badly  burnt. Overall, curry was flavourful and smooth… one of the best curry gravy…

At 6.10am where to find Crispy Prata? Mahamoodiya Indian Muslim Food at 335 Bedok Road:-

Prefer this stall than the one at the opposite Bedok Shopping Centre!

Another client’s egg prata

Mine including coffee blacks is around $4.50

One of the best crispy Prata x2 around! Not salty. Included chilli sauce!

What a surprising find so early in the morning.

Beautiful to look and yet both nice to makan.Com -:) LOL

On a Thursday morning of 18th May, from 7am till now 7.45am very quite.

Only 3 to 4 customers…if I am not mistaken, shop space has also shrunk to one unit.

In fact, Thohirah, is more popular, given that it is next to a public car park!

Bunga Raya Prata Hut #01-74 @ Empress Road Market & FC

Another good prata stall. $2.40 for two plain pieces. Amongst the best!

Although each prata is small, but what counts is the crispness!

In addition, their curry is really tangy! And nice! Well balanced taste. As some other stall’s gravy can at times be very salty.

Sultan Makan Place @ Food Paradise HDB Marsiling Greenview

2 pieces of plain with red onions prata = $3.60

Overall not bad. As both the pratas and fish curry spicy but mild; and not salty at all.

Pratas are also pretty large with generous sprinkling of onion bits…

To Recap…
Reviewed previous, gravy is way too salty… literally drinking salt!

At UbiIMG_1741.thumb.jpeg.cf2227088017d0ffbe795c447030c370.jpeg

What a pity; as their ginger tea, however is the most authentic with high concentration of ginger juice! By far the best in Singapore!

If I visit again, most probably drink the ginger tea ONLY. LOL

$4/- or 2 pieces plain Prata with red onion bits. Slightly ex. Usually around $3/- for two pieces.

Their Prata is okay, their chicken curry is soothing and spicy. But I find this type of curry sauce nice.

Can also select an alternative fish curry sauce. Didn’t try this. Maybe another time.

A nearby appointment later at Bellewaters EC.
