From the science of Feng Shui, a flying star chart is plotted and The Central palace stars are studied. For example, based on this house’s Flying Start chart and perhaps Period 8, The Central palace has the Miuntain star #4 with the water star #3. Plants at theme central palace can lead to quarrels and legal entanglements:-

For example, in some situations, it is really not a bad thing if for example: The Central palace has nasty stars like #2, #3 and or combinations of #5.

No offence, what you are trying to do; might as well flip a coin: Heads or Tail. For example heads place plants. Tails... erh?

A sample of the whole Flying Star chart. Where the Flying Stars are plotted and sectors reviewed to determine which course of action is needed

For info, if one place a single tree in the middle of the house, this forms the letter “KUN” in mandarin and implies entrapment.
