The issue that may arise is when the Chinese Horoscope indicates that you are a Rat or a Pig, depending on whether the year has passed or not. It may seem confusing how one person can be both horoscope signs at the same time, but this is due to different analyses.

Unfortunately, without learning and comparing both analyses, it may be difficult to notice the differences, especially since this only affects a small number of people during what we call the grey or blind period.

Many individuals are only familiar with the Season Calendar version, commonly used by Hong Kong Masters, and may not be aware of the reasons behind these discrepancies.

They may focus on one concept, such as Ba Zi, Chinese Horoscope, Chinese Astrology, Compass School (Flying Star, Eight House), Shapes and Forms, without exploring a variety of concepts.

Each concept serves a purpose and helps to balance, reinforce, and cross-check each other.

There should not be any conflicting issues, such as having two different horoscope signs, especially for those born near the beginning of the new year.

Our extensive research and comparison of both analyses have shown that Ba Zi, based on the Lunar Calendar, is more accurate and reliable compared to analyses based on the Seasonal Calendar.

Although it may be more complex to calculate due to the additional consideration of the Season Calendar, it works well with other concepts and avoids conflicting results, as most concepts use the Lunar Calendar as the common calendar.

Therefore, we have chosen to adopt Ba Zi based on the Lunar Calendar for our website, as it provides better accuracy and compatibility with other concepts.
