Greensky
Hi Is it generally a concern to collect keys to a new home and enter it for inspection during a lunar 7th month? What are the things to look out for? Thanks
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 27, 2019 Staff Share Posted July 27, 2019 1. Frankly, this is not Feng Shui but a stigma. 2. This has more to do with Chinese customs and beliefs. 3. In many of the past (similar) questions, I posted the same reply. 4. Here, if one believes in such things as the Ghost Month. Where, in the unlikely event that an "entity" saw a vacant home "X". And decide to make it his/her/their home from 1 August to 30 August 2019 (the 7th month duration). 5. And if their human resident during that 7th month "barge" into the home. 6. Of course, these entity won't be happy, right. 7. Thus based on the above "logic" this is the reason not to enter home "X" for whatever reasons. For fear of making them angry. 8. Alternatively if the home is a condo / EC where someone else can have excess to the unit. For example, at the recent The Clementi Canopy (TCC); the resident/Subsidiary Proprietors (SP) can make full use of the Samsung digital lock to allow or rather DELEGATE someone to do the inspection for you. 9. The idea at least is that it is not the resident that makes them angry! 10. If possible, unless one has no choice but may have to camp at East Coast Park... if defects are not done by a certain date. Else, if possible.. do so after the Chinese 7th month. 11. As mentioned, above... this is the key essence. 12. In fact, if one is so unlucky... it is THEY who will look out for... rather than You have things to look out for.... 13. For those who don't buy the 7th month thing.. skip reading this altogether. 14. For sure, try not to bring in goodies snacks into the new home. And if it is a condo/ec that few have moved in... if possible refrain from going down for a swim. Especially those at TCC. For those at High Park Residence (HPR) no worries.... lots of Yang qi as many residents already move-in. Lots, lots.. so swimming in the pool(s) are no issue. Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 24 Staff Share Posted July 24 BEWARE OF THIS AGE-OLD FENG SHUI SCAM 1. Some Singapore Feng Shui Masters, particularly those with ancestral connections, operate under the guise of a Feng Shui Store. 2. They often choose to give their store an appealing name such as "Lifestyle Living." BEWARE OF THIS AGE-OLD FENG SHUI SCAM No wonder, Feng Shui suffers from a bad reputation, today Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store. Their core business is not authentic Feng Shui. But rather making big bucks by selling lots of useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui. Please give me a good reason not to buy such products. Here's one: Okay, the above was written prior to the knowledge of COV-19. Here’s to another reason, why. Many Feng Shui Masters and their shops are FAKES! On Saturday, 14 March 2020, a WhatsApp from a past client P.S. Frankly, I was just being extremely polite. Actually if one got the hint, as the British always say just throw the "bloody" thing away! ASK! MUST I BUY FROM YOU? When the buying Stops! The selling Can! Yes! Ask: "Must I buy from YOU?"
