Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 9, 2019 Staff Share Posted September 9, 2019 Pretty good. With at least 6 or more varieties of mock meat and mushrooms. The gravy is generous but not over powering...taste.. Sorry.. eaten halfway then took this photo... Location: circled in red
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 4, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted August 4, 2020 Vegetarian at Koufu Gek Poh Shopping Centre Flavourful, the gelatinous mock roasted pork skin really tastes like the real thing. Not surprised that their white bee hoon is equally flavourful. This plate around $4.70/-. And is one of the better ones that I have eaten.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 23, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted September 23, 2020 Base of Clifford Centre Run by NTUC Foodfare Common. Nothing unique about this stall. At $3.50/-. Bee hoon slightly salty. Eat just to fill the stomach.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 6, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted January 6, 2021 Kofu Gek Poh Vegetarian $4.80/-. Slightly pricy. Mock Char sew is just so so. However the mock bacon bits added to the long beans are superb! Must add their standard gravy (not curry) to have a nice fragrance. Must say that there are lots of assorted vegetables etc... Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 13, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted January 13, 2021 Location: Sim’s Vista Market & Food Centre Prior to an audit at Sims Urban Oasis condo... Uncommon to find white kuay Teow + mock large pig’s intestines and mock kidney. Therefore, a must try! $2.60/-. Kidney is tasteful and every bit like the real stuff. The mock large pig intestines also nice. White Kuay Teow with the or” sauce is excellent. Red chilli sauce is the sweet version. But not too much! Great! Cheap cup of black coffee for only 60 cents! Here’s the final verdict!
Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 21, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted January 21, 2021 Shi Song Vegetarian at Bukit Panjang Community Club Although the bee hoon and ingredients are ordinary, surprisingly the curry gravy gave the plate a “kick”.. since I am eating this at around 6.10am! Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 24, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted April 24, 2021 Location: Punggol Plaza Vegetarian $3.30/-. One of the best fragrant (Vegetarian) Wok Hei Kuay Teow that I had ever tasted. Although the mock kidney looks so so, but wow, if one closed one’s eyes... hard to differentiate from the real thing! One if my most memorable breakfast... prior to a Feng Shui audit at Flo Residences. Looks deceiving.. the mock kidney does not look nice... but wow! That bite, that taste! Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 7, 2021 Author Staff Share Posted July 7, 2021 Rivervale Plaza Kopitiam Vegetarian Discounted $2.88 Kway Teow has that “stale” smell. Don’t get me wrong. Just that perhaps it was either kept too long or place near to some other items previously BEFORE cooked. Perhaps also due to zero wok hey flavour. A consolation is the red chillies helps to mask the smell of the kway Teow. But yet could not get me to complete it. I know it is a waste when there are so many especially Malaysians waving white flags asking for help! Fried bean curd also salty. Will not eat here again. How to? No thank you! Sorry need to place a gun on my head to complete it…

Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 3, 2022 Author Staff Share Posted July 3, 2022 Thai Bee Hoon at Noodle Delights: Non- vegetarian. Quite rare today. Has peanuts in it. Full of nice sour-tangy taste. At Kou fu Thomson Plaza. At this area for at least a decade or more. Maybe different vendor.. but nice. Something light … comfort food.. for those who are familiar with this type of bee hoon. P.S. The old stall used to be at the current Chicken rice stall, at this same food court.
