Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 20, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 20, 2020 My personal aversion to glass table tops stems from several factors. 1. This is primarily due to its incompatibility with porcelain, mugs, and glass materials. 2. The sound produced when these items come into contact with the glass surface is unappealing, regardless of how carefully they are placed on the table. 3. Additionally, using a plastic surface protector detracts from the aesthetic, as it becomes unsightly with the bubbles that form on its surface. Frequently, the surface area becomes adhesive [sticky] as a result of the plastic covering.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 20, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted June 20, 2020 Question: For dinner table is it ok the get one that is extendable? Reply: Another is based on common sense. If the table has a split line, often food debris get trapped... if not cleaned, unhygenic.. As a single no split or "crack-line" table does not have this issue totally. One wipe and every surface of the table is cleaned 100%
Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 7, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted September 7, 2020 Dear Master Lee, sorry to disturb you again. I am thinking of buying this dining table but there is a line in the center. The table is not split. Just a design. Is it ok or not advisable? It is not extendable table. Reply: More to do with stigma or taboo. Thus preferred not to have the line - IF POSSIBLE

Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 27, 2022 Author Staff Share Posted May 27, 2022 Is this foldable dining table in the pic suitable for our dining area? Is it considered odd shape table if both sides are folded or one side is folded. Feng shui does not micromanage this. So Long as the split line us not half of the circle, custom says is okay P.S. More to do with hygiene purposes. As often food debris may be trapped in these cracks or crevices…
