Question: I am looking for either a brand new or a good second-hand resale house. How do I go about finding a house that has good Feng Shui that suits my whole family members?

Based on previous experiences, this is often the most challenging aspect for family members. Acquiring a new home represents a significant financial investment, and most of us strive to identify what we consider to be a desirable or exceptional property. However, we frequently find ourselves at a loss or unable to locate a suitable home. And even if we do, we are uncertain whether it is suitable for us or has good Feng Shui.

Try to find out the reason why the owner wanted to sell their house?

It is important to inquire about the reasons behind the owners' decision to sell their house. It would be interesting to know if they are upgrading to a condominium unit. This is a reassuring thought, although it does not guarantee that the house will be suitable for you or your family members.

On the other hand, if we discover that the owners are selling due to financial problems or divorce, it is advisable to carefully reconsider the purchase of such a house before making a hasty decision.

Can I bring my family members to check on the house?

Please feel free to invite all your family members to join us! It would be wonderful to have a family outing together. We would love to hear each family member's impression of the house.

What are things we can look for when buying a house?

Please ensure the protection of the main entrance and each bedroom window. Check for any potential threats such as the edge of another building, a temple, a hospital, or a lamp post that may pose a risk. In some cases, it may be possible to make corrections, but not all solutions may be practical. For instance, using a curtain or blind to permanently block the view.

Are there any significance in missing corners or protrusions in a house?

Explore the importance of absent corners or protrusions in a residence by Clicking here.

When looking for a new home, aim to find one with minimal missing corners or protrusions. Typically, houses with a rectangular layout are perceived as more desirable.

How about the toilet location?

It is not typically feasible to relocate the toilet. If the toilet is incorrectly positioned, it can lead to financial issues for the homeowners, especially if it is situated at the center of the house.

Ideally, the toilet should be placed on an external wall of the house and should not be near or above the main entrance. These locations are considered very unfavorable and are challenging to remedy without relocating the toilet to a different area. It is advisable to avoid purchasing a house with such a layout if possible.

What is `Quantum Leap' in Feng Shui?

It can be stated that finding 'excellent houses' is quite uncommon! You should be deemed extremely fortunate to come across such houses.

Case Study 1

The characteristics of such a house is the `Receive Position'. Where your house is ready to receive luck. In the picture below, (at the expense of your neighbours).

When you were finding your own house how do you do it?

We are all aware that placing a deposit on a choice house has to be a `quick process!' Any minute wasted and our dream house is lost forever to others!

"This report was first devised specifically for our own use particularly to find good houses/apartments fast.

In Singapore, we all are aware that new housing developments get `snapped' up very fast just within a few minutes/hours or even a day. When Robert first wrote this report, we were at that time looking for a  `choice' unit for our elder brother in a new development.

Initially, as this is an early launch, he brought along his notebook. This report was generated first and it helped us to greatly narrow down the `choice' units. After which, within a matter of minutes, we focused on one or two units that suited him. Next, we generated the Flying Star House Report. Immediately after analysing and deciding on a unit, he managed to book the unit.
