Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 17, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted November 17, 2020 Part 1 of 3: Sales Brochure Information A Green Sanctuary Located in the central region of Singapore, Bidadari is well served by the North-East Line (Woodleigh and Potong Pasir MRT stations) and the Circle Line (Bartley MRT station). Known for its rolling landscape and picturesque greenery, Bidadari is envisioned to be a tranquil urban oasis where residents can rest, relax, and connect with family and friends. True to the area's green origins, the future Bidadari Park will be centrally located in Bidadari Estate, to form a green lung. The new Alkaff Lake will be situated within the park, to recreate the sense of tranquility of the former Alkaff Lake Garden. To celebrate the rich heritage of Bidadari, the former Upper Aljunied Road will be transformed into a 700-metre Heritage Walk lined with conserved rain trees. Bidadari Park will be complemented by Bidadari Greenway that links Bartley Road to Upper Serangoon Road. A cycling and pedestrian network has also been mapped out, which will mostly run through the green corridors, the Bidadari Greenway, and the Bidadari Park. Rest spots, commercial, and social communal facilities will line the Bidadari Greenway, creating opportunities for community interaction. Travelling within and out of Bidadari will be pleasant and convenient for all. For your shopping and dining needs, residents can look forward to the hawker centre integrated within Woodleigh Village and the commercial facilities within the Woodleigh Mall/Woodleigh Residences mixed development. You can also visit the neighbourhood centre located nearby at Potong Pasir Avenue 1. You can find out more about these heartland shops by visiting Where2Shop@HDB. For families with school-going children, nearby schools include Cedar Primary School with an MOE kindergarten, Maris Stella High School (Primary and Secondary), Bartley Secondary School, and Cedar Girls' Secondary School. Urban Homes in Nature 3-, 4-, and 5-room flats Bartley Beacon and ParkView @ Bidadari are located within Bidadari estate in Toa Payoh town. Both developments are located near MRT stations and the future Bidadari Park. You can choose from 1,238 units of 3-, 4-, and 5-room flats. Please refer to the site plans for the facilities provided in these developments. Facilities in these developments will be accessible by the public. Bartley Beacon Located at the junction of Bartley Road and Mount Vernon Road, Bartley Beacon is conveniently located next to Bartley MRT station. The development is named Bartley Beacon due to its prominent location marking one of the entrances into Bidadari estate. This development comprises 8 residential blocks with heights ranging from 14 to 17 storeys. You can choose your home from 880 units of 3-, 4-, and 5-room flats. Bartley Beacon comes with various recreational facilities, such as playgrounds and fitness stations. An eating house, supermarket, shops, a childcare centre, and a Residents' Committee Centre are also conveniently located within the development. The roof gardens located above the two Multi-Storey Car Parks will serve as ideal spots for residents to unwind and relax amidst the green landscaping. Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 19, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted November 19, 2020 Case Study 1: Should I be concerned with the future Chinese temple and/or the Mount Vernon Funeral Parlour? How far is far? 1. No! Not at my backyard! 2. Generally, this development is considered a distance away especially from the future Chinese temple. Furthermore, most of the stacks are buffered by the Precinct Pavilion, Bin Centre (PWCS) & ESS. 3. Fortunately also none of the stacks/units will be directly facing this Chinese temple. 4. Nevertheless, we can understand that there will always be a stigma by just staying near-by no matter what. 5. Thus not so much of Feng Shui, more of a monetary consideration, why not avoid stacks 154, 156 & 158. 6. Okay, there is another reason.... staying as far away as possible from the PWCS. 7. Okay, this is purely conjecture...
