Jodyleo
My house has a flat roof. It is very slightly sloping to the front and back to allow rainwater drainage but it is normally described as a flat roof. Are there any cures for this as I have just read that flat roofs are not desirable and not considered good fengshui. Also, my front door faces the back door with the door of the garden room in the middle i.e. 3 doors in a row, and also front door faces back door in a straight line. Any cures for this? Many thanks for your help.
Administrator
Dear Jody,Ideally your roof should first be proportionate (both front and back) ratherthen slope one side. Especially if there is `water' closeby in Front, thisis symbolic of water (wealth) flowing away from your house into the water.^/ \The symbol of a `normal' roof, if you look at the side profile looks lik anUP arrow | | which signifies moving upwards in career, wealthetc...Frankly, nothing much can be done to enhance a flat room. Although some haveadded a covered chimney in the shape of a roof with a `roof ' to representthe " UP arrow " as shown above. With the front door in a straight line with the backdoor, the best solutionis to place a decorative screen preferably after the front door to allowgood ch'i to meander into the room. Alternatively, if your living room is`long' place a divider between it and e.g. the dining room or the backdoor.Hope that Helps.Cecil-----Original Message-----From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed>Date: Friday, March 12, 1999 2:11 AMSubject: Flat Roof & 3 Doors in a row - any cures?
