Dear Cecil & Robert,
I was reading a book by Hee Yee Fan on "Discover Your Destiny". In it were example of prominent person dob.
Li Ka-Shing 13 Jun 1928.
day month year
Heavenly Yg Wd Yg E Yg E
Earthly Yg M Yg F Yg E
Li is of Yang Wood.
The analysis was that his favourable elements are water and metal (metal generates water)
Question: Isn't metal destroy wood instead ?
The book also quote that his spouse -earthly branch of day pillar is metal , a favourable element. How is this so if we look at the cycle of destruction where metal destroys wood.

Dear Ang Chye,
There is a big difference after a complete analysis has been done to a person to determine if he is weak or strong wood.
I believe he as deduced that the person is a strong wood, thus, metal is good for him. As metal control his strong wood.
However, if he is deduced as weak wood, then metal is not good for him as it weakens him.
Hope that helps.
Warmest Regards
Robert Lee
