Personal Luck etc. Please help or comment, Master!

Hi all and all the masters here.
Do you think you can kindly make some comments regarding my future?
Things (careers) are not doing too well at the moment. Not sure as if anything you can highlight something such that I can avoid the bad.
I am born 4th Oct 1974, between 9-10 am in Hong Kong. Male
My flatmate born in 17th Dec 1966 between 12-1am at night. male.
Could you please kindly comment.
I thought I am a wood person (as wood tiger). But some website say I am an earth person.
How about my mate? I thought he is fire horse!
A website says my next 30 years are all bad!

Hi Cecil,
So, I am a wood tiger but earth person? So, in terms of enhancing
elements, should I use earth element to strength myself or wood element?
Should I use the true element instead? On the other hand, wood destroys
earth. Is it a problem? Any cure?
Please do not get me wrong, I have no intention to patronise anyone
or anything. I am just a normal little person. I think I use your website to
generate reports. One of those reports talks about every ten years of luck.
I looked at it. As I am a weak earth, things are bad to me. Every 10 years
are either Strong water, which strengthen wood (hence destroy earth) or
Strong wood which destroy weak earth.
Regarding enhancing careers, I go a little question. As I believe I am a
west person, north and south are not really my good sectors. Does that mean
I should not enhance that sectors (career and fame) ? Any opinion? At the
moment, there is a lack of opportunities in my career. I graduated from good
university with a degree and a master. Luck (or opportunity) is something
which I believe missing all the times. I know I am better than this and I
got real ability when compared with others. I place a dragon head tortoise
on my desk. Doesn't seem much happen. (By the way, am I supposed to put a
coin or a ribbon in its mouth?)

Dear Travis,
1. Thanks for your clarifications.
2. Basically, with proper use of the Five element concepts, although a chart may show unfavourable elements, the good thing about the Five element concept is that it allows us to have a balance or to try and seek a balance.
3. Not too much of one element or the other.
4. The purpose of Pillars, Luck Pillar or season of strength used is to allow us to understand what we are or will be facing.
5. For example since you are a weak earth person, you can take advantage of fire element eg. for the individual, red or pink.
6. Although it would account for your difficulties, you can now take better control of your life by using elements to enhance yourself. Elements like Fire element to aid your earth and using earth element also.
Think positive also.
